Honed during a career in the hotel and Latin entertainment industries, she possesses strong negotiation skills, careful attention to detail from start to finish of every project, the ability to multitask and think quickly on her feet, and a talent for interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.

A passionate philanthropist, education advocate and community servant, Miosotis sits on the Board of Directors for the Dominican Women’s Development Center. She is also the Founder and CEO of the Miosotis Cabrera Foundation, an organization dedicated to creating opportunities in computer science training for underserved inner-city youths in the Washington Heights section of New York City.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Miosotis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Universidad Iberoamericana UNIBE in Santo Domingo. An Irvington resident for 20 years, she has in-depth knowledge of Westchester County and its unique offerings. Miosotis currently lives in Irvington, NY. She is a proud Loyola University Baltimore mom – her daughter is an alumnae, while her son is currently attending. Her youngest child is an elementary student.

When this busy professional has spare time, Miosotis enjoys jogging, reading and traveling, especially to the beautiful Caribbean beaches of her native country.
